The safety administration has reportedly received 40 complaints of 2004-2008 models that have experienced clutch pedal bracket failure, and in 15 cases, the rotary-powered Mazda was moving and the drivers couldn't change gears normally as a result. Two of those drivers could have found themselves in a more dangerous situation, as the clutch pedal was reported to have become wedged under the brake pedal."-----

Hmmm... Ik heb daar hier nog niets over gezien... Iemand die weet of er Europeanen zijn met dit probleem?

Het schijnt inderdaad een ietwat gammel ding te zijn, dat pedaal. Ik zou iedereen aanraden eens een kritische blik op het ding te werpen, of ie piept, of beweegt in richtingen die je niet wilt. Hij kan blijkbaar zomaar afbreken!

Hai, Dit klopt het staat op de USA RX-8 site met foto's waar hij afbreekt en hoe je hem zelf kan reparen als je een beetje kan lassen. Hij zit met een paar puntlassen in elkaar gelast en deze puntlassen scheuren los.
